I always knew I wanted to open my own childcare program, I thought this was something I would do so much later in my teaching profession. My timeline shifted in the final year of my undergraduate program when I realize I was pregnant with my last daughter and Sanctuary family care was born in 2007 and we have been growing ever since.
At Sanctuary Family we believe that we all share a responsibility to support and nurture the children’s and our own natural desire to be lifelong learners. We put ourselves and our learning on the same level as the child’s and commit to our own professional development and personal growth. We learn alongside the children and their families and embrace the opportunity to learn and grow each day.
We endeavor to provide early care and learning where quality and trust is at our core. It is with deep commitment we will continuously improve our services to meet the needs of the children and families we serve. caring; honest and open; fair and equitable.
Respectful relationships are very important and on which our program operates. We believe that quality of care we provide is measured by the quality of relationships we have with children, families, employees, network, and legislators. Sanctuary Family Day Care uses a multi-faceted curriculum considering the many different teaching/learning styles and education theories and practices, in addition to the many different cultures and ethnicity that make up our community; with the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit which develop the whole child.
